RULES OF ENDORSEMENT

Given its high scientific profile, EURAPS receives several requests to endorse other European meetings on Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Endorsing other meetings is one of the methods EURAPS has at hand to fulfill its main objective: promoting excellence in the field of Plastic Surgery in Europe.

For transparency purposes, below are listed the criteria according to which endorsement can be granted to other meetings organized by EURAPS Members, provided the applicant is in good standing with the Association, and with the regular payment of the annual dues:

  1. Preliminary program with faculty must be presented and assessed by the Secretary General before hand
  2. Once endorsement is granted, EURAPS logo should be displayed on flyers and final program of the meeting

In exceptional cases, the Secretary General may grant endorsement to a meeting organized by a Non-Member of EURAPS, provided that:

  1. Preliminary program with faculty must be presented and assessed by the Secretary General before hand, and faculty should count at least one EURAPS Member
  2. The organizer must already be endorsed by their National Society of Plastic Surgery

Under certain circumstances, the Secretary General reserves the right to assess each particular situation, and decide whether a meeting will be fully endorsed or simply advertised on the EURAPS website.
